Welcome

Stephanie graduated from Beloit College in 1998 with her B.A. in psychology and proceeded to obtain her M.A. in clinical psychology from Roosevelt University in 2005. Stephanie has engaged in the counseling role since 1998 in a group residential setting. She has specialized in domestic violence, childhood behavioral disorders, ADHD, anger management, anxiety, antisocial personality, behavioral issues, bipolar disorder, borderline personality, career counseling, coping skills, depression, divorce, domestic abuse, emotional disturbance, entitlement, family conflict, self esteem, sexual abuse, sexual addiction, teen violence, thinking disorders, and trauma and PTSD.

Serving toddlers, adolescents, and adults.  Focus on child management, behavioral problems, ADHD, Conduct Disorder, attachment and bonding issues, personal struggles, mood disorders, victims of child abuse/neglect, perpetrators of abuse/neglect, and domestic violence.

Early Intervention

Counseling services are provided for parents and children, birth to three with special needs.  Complete social emotional evaluations to determine a child’s developmental status and need for intervention services.  Interpret assessment results.  Obtain, integrate and interpret information about child behavior and child/family conditions related to learning, mental health, and development.  Identifying, mobilizing, and coordinating community resources and services to enable the child and family to progress from early intervention services.  Planning and managing a program to include family counseling, consultation on child development, parent training, and education programs.

Provide counseling services for parents and children involved with the Department of Children and Family Servies.  Worked with addiction, sex offenders, perpetrators of abuse/neglect, and victims of sex offenses, abuse, and neglect.  Completed protective parenting assessments, mental health assessments, and court progress reports.
